Metabolic, Endocrine & Liver Health

Metabolic Syndrome & Insulin Resistance

Assessment and management of interconnected metabolic risk factors — abdominal adiposity, elevated blood glucose, abnormal cholesterol and high blood pressure — through individualized lifestyle interventions, risk reduction and clinically appropriate treatment.

Type 2 Diabetes & Prediabetes

Physician-led evaluation and ongoing management focused on glycemic control, cardiovascular risk reduction, lifestyle modification, medication management when appropriate, and prevention of long-term complications.

Thyroid Disorders

Evaluation and management of common thyroid conditions, including hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and selected stable thyroid disorders, with laboratory monitoring and specialist referral when indicated.

Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD/MASH)

Assessment and management of the metabolic risk factors associated with fatty liver disease — insulin resistance, obesity, dyslipidemia and type 2 diabetes — including risk assessment, appropriate noninvasive evaluation and specialist referral when clinically indicated.

Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS)

Formerly known as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Metabolic assessment and management of insulin resistance, weight-related concerns and associated cardiometabolic risk factors in patients with PMOS.

Dyslipidemia & Lipid Disorders

Management of elevated LDL cholesterol, low HDL cholesterol, hypertriglyceridemia and related cardiovascular risk markers, with individualized risk assessment, nutrition and lifestyle counseling, and appropriate lipid-lowering therapy.

Cardiovascular & Renal Risk

Essential Hypertension

Evaluation and ongoing management of high blood pressure, including home blood pressure monitoring, medication optimization, lifestyle interventions and cardiovascular risk reduction.

Cardiovascular Risk Assessment & Primary Prevention

Individualized assessment of blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, smoking history, weight, family history and other relevant indicators, with an emphasis on prevention before cardiovascular disease develops.

Atherosclerosis & Vascular Risk Management

Management of the risk factors associated with atherosclerotic disease — lipid disorders, hypertension, diabetes and metabolic dysfunction. This is preventive risk management; advanced vascular disease is referred for specialist treatment.

Early-Stage Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Monitoring

Monitoring of selected stable, early-stage kidney disease, including kidney function assessment, blood pressure optimization, diabetes management, medication review and appropriate nephrology referral.

Gastrointestinal Health

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) & Acid Reflux

Evaluation and treatment of common reflux symptoms through lifestyle modification, appropriate medication and assessment of symptoms that require further investigation.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Evaluation and ongoing management of IBS symptoms, including dietary factors, symptom patterns and appropriate treatment, with referral when further evaluation is needed.

Chronic Indigestion & Dyspepsia

Assessment of persistent upper abdominal discomfort, bloating and indigestion, with individualized management and referral for further evaluation when necessary.

Constipation & Functional Bowel Habits

Evaluation and management of common bowel habit concerns, including dietary factors, hydration, medication effects and appropriate treatment strategies.

Non-Specific Abdominal Pain & Discomfort

Initial assessment of selected non-emergency abdominal symptoms, with appropriate testing, in-person evaluation or specialist referral when clinically indicated.

Severe, sudden or worsening abdominal pain requires urgent in-person medical evaluation.

Respiratory & Sleep Health

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)

Screening, risk assessment and coordination of diagnostic testing and ongoing management, including weight-related risk reduction and appropriate sleep medicine referral.

Management of selected stable asthma, including symptom assessment, inhaler medication review, trigger identification and appropriate follow-up.

Stable Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Ongoing management of selected stable COPD, including symptom monitoring, medication review, preventive care and referral when appropriate.
